Kulanu: Primack Tribute Journal

Tribute Journal in Honor of Karen and Aron Primack

The guest-filled home of Karen and Aron Primack was the spiritual home of Kulanu from the very day in 1994 Kulanu ("all of us" in Hebrew) was given that unusual name in their living room. On that same day, Karen and Aron Primack took on the heavy responsibility to give dialogue to those unheard Jews throughout the world.

See the online Tribute Journal below, filled with beautiful photos and messages documenting the impact Karen and Aron Primack have had on Jews worldwide. To find out how to contribute your own note of appreciation to a forthcoming Addendum to this Journal, go to www.kulanu.org/tribute or click here.

After stepping down from their 15-year commitment to editing and publishing the Kulanu newsletter, it is a time to rejoice, and to formally acknowledge the Primacks' success, leadership, and cascade of achievements that made Kulanu a voice for those who had yet to be heard. Among their many accomplishments are the publication of two books, "Jews in Places You Never Thought Of" (1998, KTAV and Kulanu, Inc) and "Under One Canopy: Readings in Jewish Diversity" (2003, Kulanu, Inc); the production of two CDs of Jewish music from the Abayudaya of Uganda, "Shalom Everybody Everywhere!" (1997, Kulanu, Inc) and "Lecha Dodi" (2008, JJ Keki); and the founding and incorporation of Kulanu as a non-profit organization in 1994. Karen and Aron will continue to be involved with Kulanu's work supporting isolated and emerging Jewish communities around the world.
